recuperi dal passato : Fail Safe

un sibilo...un unico suono innaturale. Un urlo metallico ad alta frequenza. 5 secondi e poi più nulla. Ecco il discriminante tra l'essere vivi ed il non essere mai esistiti. In un ipotetico attacco nucleare probabilmente l'umanità così come noi la conosciamo non sopravviverebbe. Cosa che per alcuni potrebbe risultare quasi un sollievo, dipende dai punti di vista. In un ipotetica conversazione telefonica, l'utente che per sua fortuna stesse al capo "giusto" della cornetta e fosse testimone della detonazione nucleare all'altro , sentirebbe forse un boato, le ultime parole del suo interlocutore, prima che la sua voce si trasformi nell'urlo elettronico di un telefono che si fonde all'istante per l'enorme onda di calore. Poi silenzio. Assenza

di questo parla "fail safe" bel film, discreto romanzo.
Chissà cosa succederebbe a due che stanno chattando. Che segnale scaturirebbe da un "meltdown" nucleare? Sarebbe interpretabile in maniera univoca, inequivocabile? Probabilmente sull'altro monitor si vedrebbe solo un repentino "log out". Magari sarebbe interpretato solo come un segno di maleucazione ^_^
